Electric mobility aims to drastically reduce our carbon emissions but this requires two joint actions: the increase of electric cars in the fleet and the production of green electricity. The first is well underway. Unfortunately, the second one is in trouble.
Of course, we have many nuclear power plants, but many of them are currently under maintenance and it takes about 15 years to deliver a new one. Wind and solar power production are therefore necessary.
But this source of energy also has an essential flaw: its intermittence. It can be very abundant or weak, depending on the wind or sunshine.
